If you answered yes to these questions, consider nominating yourself to join the Australian Citizen Science Association (ACSA) Committee! Joining the ACSA Committee is a great opportunity to offer your expertise in supporting the growth of citizen science and ACSA. It also provides unique networking and learning opportunities related to citizen science initiatives across Australia and internationally.
ACSA Committee positions are voluntary and are 2-year terms from November 2024 to November 2026. You can choose to self-nominate for one of four positions that are open in this year’s election, including:
- Five General Members
- Opportunity for Secretary and Deputy Chair positions
Applications are due 18th October. If more than 5 EOI for ACSA Committee membership are submitted an election will take place, commencing on Monday, 21st of October. Outcomes will be announced during the online ACSA AGM on 20th November 2024.

- Nominations open Wednesday 18th September
- Nominations close Friday 18th October
- Voting opens Monday 21st October
- Voting closes Friday 8th November
- Successful candidates will be announced during our 2024 ACSA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 20th November
