ACSA-NSW

About Us

The inaugural New South Wales chapter of the Australian Citizen Science Association was formed in 2024 from a diverse range of people, all passionate about citizen science. Brought together by a drive to facilitate meaningful participation in citizen science and inspired by working with the community, the new team are keen to maintain and increase value of citizen science among other priorities.

As a state representative for ACSA, the NSW chapter helps to implement the strategic goals, priorities and actions of ACSA at the regional level. Very much in its infancy, ACSA-NSW will continue to foster relationships between citizen scientists, citizen science projects and their facilitators and help build capability in the sector.

If you have any questions about citizen science in New South Wales, are running any citizen science projects or would like to get involved in the committee, please feel free to contact us using the form at the bottom of the page.
