The Capacity Building Program for South Australia’s Citizen Science Project, funded by the South Australian Department for Environment and Water, delivers a pioneering capacity-building program.
The project’s primary goal is to bridge skill gaps and empower practitioners to ensure the success of Citizen Science projects. The on-ground component provides hands-on field experience and practice for leaders’ keen to design and deliver a BioBlitz. The Australian BioBlitz Guide has also been updated. The online component builds a leader’s knowledge and skills holistically. Individual modules cover project idea validation, building and sustaining relationships with partners, volunteers, data management and much more.
Access to the online teaching resources and BioBlitz Guide is available through the ACSA website
