Organisational members in the ACT and Region
ACSA thanks the following organisational members in the ACT & Region:
The ACT & Region Chapter helps to implement the strategic goals, priorities and actions of ACSA at the regional level. We help to build awareness of ACSA and citizen science in our local community and areas of interest, and we have the opportunity to provide a local voice, representation and communication channel at the national level.
If you have any questions about citizen science in the ACT, or would like to get involved, please feel free to contact us using the form at the bottom of the page.
The ACT & Region chapter of ACSA was officially launched by Minister Gentleman of the ACT assembly on Tuesday 30th April, 2019 at the CSIRO Discovery Centre in Canberra. More than 70 citizen scientists, scientists and interested parties were in attendance. You can find a full recap of the launch here.
The ACSA-ACT & Region committee currently doesn’t have a chair. Get in touch if you are interested in discussing your involvement in this chapter.
