The ACSA-ACT team had a stall at the Canberra Show highlighting all the different types of citizen science that happens across the region and nationally.
“Guess which bird belongs to which feather” drew in show-goers with the sulphur-crested cockatoo an easy pick for young and old.
Using citizen science apps such as NatureMapr and iNaturalist was also of interest especially for those wanting to understand the nature around them.
Our citizen science friends from WaterWatch ACT and FrogWatch ACT certainly knew how to draw in the crowds with waterbugs, tadpoles and a spinning wheel for prizes!
And what is a show without enjoying a dagwood dog!
