ACSA is now calling for nominations for the Management Committee for a 2 year term commencing November 2021.
Being on the ACSA Management Committee can be an extremely rewarding experience and bring a great deal of personal satisfaction. There are great opportunities to make new contacts, network with your peers and increase knowledge about citizen science and ACSA.
Management Committee Members make a difference in the citizen science space by applying their experience, enthusiasm and by showing leadership. We also have a lot of fun!
There are five positions available:

Terms are for two years (ie: November 2021 to November 2023).
We are looking for people who can contribute at a strategic and practical level to the association’s programs and activities and by building a strong, sustainable and dynamic Association. Specific skills and experience we are looking for in this year’s nominations are:
- strategic planning
- capacity or ability to solicit financial support
- networking & partnerships
- grant writing
- social media / communications
- graphic design
- public speaking
Please understand that in nominating you are prepared to commit time to the activities of the Management Committee, including at least one Management Committee meeting per month, associated follow up activities together with representation on sub-committees.

Nominations close Friday 15th October
Voting open Monday 18th November
Voting closes Friday 29th October and successful candidates will announced at the AGM from 12pm (AEDT) that day.
